NBTA Pledges $1 Million to Help Foundation Work Toward Self-Sustainment
New York, NY (March 12, 2008) – The NBTA Foundation,
Fay Beauchine, NBTA Foundation Board of Trustees Chair, said: “Through the Foundation’s previous five-year capital campaign we were able to raise more than $5 million to support education and research for the business travel community. Judging by the corporate support and enthusiasm we’ve already received for this new partnership initiative, it will no doubt reach the same levels of success, allowing us to work toward self-sustainment while still providing corporate travel professionals across the globe with more resources than ever before.

The NBTA Foundation is the education and research foundation of the National Business Travel Association (NBTA). The foundation was established in 1997 to support NBTA’s members and the industry as a whole. As the leading education and research foundation in the business travel industry, the NBTA Foundation seeks to fund initiatives to advance the business travel profession. The foundation offers the only master’s-level accredited course and professional designation for the corporate travel professional, the Global Leadership Professional (GLP) program, in partnership with The Wharton School.
