Alexandria, VA (February 26, 2007) -- The NBTA Foundation, the education and research foundation of the National Business Travel Association (NBTA), today announced new members of its Board of Trustees.

NBTA Foundation Board Chair, Ellen Keszler, president of Sabre Corporate Solutions, said, “I am pleased to welcome these leading corporate travel industry professionals to the NBTA Foundation Board of Trustees, and I know they will help the foundation continue to advance its mission of providing leading research tools, educational programs and professional development scholarships to corporate travel professionals.”

Keszler added, “A warm ‘thank-you’ is due to the outgoing Board members Fay Beauchine, Carlson Companies; Mathias Friess, Virgin Blue; Susan Jacobs, Visa U.S.A. Inc.; and Jack O'Neill, Carlson Wagonlit Travel for their contributions to the NBTA Foundation’s work on behalf of the industry. Their leadership helped the foundation raise and award $90,000 in scholarships in 2006, launch a high-level professional designation as part of the Global Leadership Professional (GLP) program, conduct important industry research and enhance the one-of-a-kind Managed Travel Index® (MTI) & Benchmarking Tool. Moving forward with a new Board, we will continue to build on their success and the groundwork laid by the work the foundation has done since 1997.”
